Most Memorable Stories: In 2012 Anchorage broke the all-time record for snow of 132.6 inches. In over 30 years of living in Alaska I had never seen that much snow on the ground. The city still operated and normal activities continued, but it was crazy to see piles and piles of snow.
Also, the Crooked Creek flooding disaster in Southwest Alaska. Seeing water destroy an entire community was heartbreaking. This showed me how important it is to be accurate and get information to viewers quickly.
