"In Cleveland Ohio, there is a place so bad, so awful, nobody has tried to expose it. Until now."

The place in question? The Walmart in Steelyard Commons.

The parody video, created by local comedy brand Taco Truck, showed messy displays, footage of in-store crimes and workplace woes.

In the video, the store is dubbed the "worst retail store in America" and a "soul-sucking experience" to shop in.

The project, which has been a year in the making, was inspired by a magazine article citing poor experiences with the store.

"The documentary started off as a real thing, and most of the interviews are real people with real experiences," said Paul Schultz, content creator with Taco Truck. "So it started out serious, then we changed it into a parody with exaggerated elements. All of our videos are comedy, so we wanted to make sure that people knew that this video was meant to be viewed as such by alluding to it throughout the video."

Some experiences in the video, including a man losing his son in the retail store and an incognito interview with an employee, are fictional.

In less than 24 hours, the video received more than 200,000 views on the company's Facebook page.

Locals took to the post to share their thoughts. More than 1,000 comments have been made on the video.

"I always knew that Walmart was bad! Now we know it's the worst - ha!" wrote one user.
