‘Captain America' stars Chris Evans, Anthony Mackie hang out with Cleveland fans in Ohio City

CLEVELAND - Two big stars from the movie "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" spent some time with some fans in Cleveland's Ohio City neighborhood Wednesday night.

Chris Evans, Anthony Mackie and two others working on the movie dined at the newly-opened " TownHall" restaurant on West 25th Street.

Michael Wankowski of Cleveland posted photos on Instagram ( @beinlikemike) of his encounter with the celebrities. Wankowski said the movie crew of four shared a table with his group of friends.

At first, Wankowski said the stars were low key, dressed in normal clothes and acting normal, but then everyone in the restaurant started to realize who they were and approached them. The crew ate pizza, mingled and ultimately ended up chatting with Wankowski and his group.

Wankowski said Evans, Mackie and the others watched the Bruins hockey game, since one of them was from Boston.

According to Wankowski, the celebrities try not to compare Cleveland and Los Angeles, but said they're enjoying their time in Ohio. They apologized again for the traffic trouble with the West Shoreway being closed for two weeks due to filming.

Movie crews from Hollywood have set up shop all over downtown Cleveland to film different scenes for the movie. Some scenes included gunfire, police chases, crashes and explosions.

Evan Dewitt of Dewitt's Jewelry in the Euclid Arcade worked with crews from the last Avenger's movie. Dewitt is a custom jeweler who fixed jewelry that had been damaged in the action-packed movie the last time the Marvel movie crews were in town. Dewitt hasn't seen any actors, or damaged jewelry, this time around, but he's hoping to add actresses Scarlett Johansson and Jennifer Garner to his impressive list of satisfied customers.

"Celebrities like to be discrete and that's how I operate," said Dewitt. "I often am called to their rooms while they are staying here in town. They appreciate the service and they are almost always very cool and down to earth." "If Jennifer Garner or Scarlett Johansson call me, I'm available 24/7. I aim to please, full service, anything they want, I'll do!"

Dewitt's list of customers who have become friends range from Alice Cooper, Jackie Mason, Elvis Costello, to local rap and hip hop stars, Bone Thugs N Harmony.
