A Columbus-based Asian grill restaurant, BIBIBOP, is coming to Cleveland.

The casual dining restaurant has a "create your own meal" set up similar to Chipolte Mexican Grill - allowing customers to build their own meal packed with Korean flavors. The restaurant aims to blend "time-honored Asian flavors with classic American favorites."

Rice bowls can be created with purple or white rice, salads can be crafted with a Korean flare and wraps can be made in a BIBIBOP roll. Beans, potatoes, sprouts and various vegetables are offered as toppings. Customers can choose from flavored chicken, steak or tofu as a protein.

The concept is based on the traditional Korean dish bibimbap, meaning "mixed rice."

Ready to dig in? On July 31, the restaurant's grand opening will feature free meals for customers from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.

The University Circle location is located at 111431 Euclid Avenue - the first Cleveland location to open. In 2018, the restaurant is slotted to open a Pinecrest location in Orange Village.

The first location opened in Columbus, Ohio in 2013. The restaurant has since expanded throughout the area and into Washington D.C., Illinois, California and Maryland.
