CLEVELAND - Do you know what you're getting your Valentine? You don't have to spend a lot of money to show your love. We shopped six stores that sell a dozen roses for under $30.

At florists like Gaines on Cleveland's east side, a dozen roses and candy sell for $70. Grab one of their coupons and you can save even more.

"We're expecting a pretty busy day. Very exciting taking in those last minute requests," Owner Tyrone Gaines said. "We're here to speak for you with flowers and accessories."

If you haven't put in your request yet, there are lots of last minute options for cheap.

We checked the flowers at six stores that sell roses for under $30. That's what a dozen will cost you at Giant Eagle and Flowerama.

If you want to pay half that price, try Marc's, Walmart, or Costco. Costco's appeared the most fresh and they were the cheapest of the bunch.

For $14.99, you get long stem roses fresh from the farms in Ecuador. Some are open, some are closed. Plus, they come in a variety of colors.

If you want to spend even less, try Aldi. The store is selling a dozen roses for $9.99.

While some of the petals were not in the best shape, you know it's a good deal when you see woman after woman grabbing the flowers to purchase.

If a dozen is too much, Gaines has an option that's under $10.

"Even a single rose means quite a bit so we have that as well."

Even if you buy the $10 flowers that are a little wilted and torn, you can salvage them by taking off the outer petal.

Buy the roses closed and they'll last longer.
