RECALL: Heinen's voluntarily pulls its ready-to-eat Grilled Herb Chicken

WARRENVILLE HEIGHTS, Ohio - The Heinen's grocery store chain has issued a voluntary recall of its Heinen's Grilled Herb Chicken, a ready to eat product, because it is possible the chicken may be undercooked.
This product has a sell by date of 07/24/2013 and will show UPC numbers 20265000000, 20772500000 or 20682000000. The chicken was sold in its Ohio stores and one location in Illinois.
The products involved were available as 6 oz. consumer ready packages and at the Heinen's deli counter.
The problem was discovered by a customer who returned a package with concerns that the chicken was undercooked. There have been no illnesses or injuries reported in connection to this recall.
In a press release, Heinen's said the product is being recalled out of an abundance of caution.
Customers who have purchased this product may return it to their local Heinen's store for a full refund. Anyone with questions or concerns can call Heinen's at 216-475-2300 ext. 2337.
