Akron police are trying to identify a crook who has a taste for expensive alcohol.

The break-in happened just before 3 a.m. Thursday at Copley Liquor Express on Copley Road.

Surveillance video shows a man crawl through a door and steal about $500 from change jars and more than $3,000 worth of tequila and cognac.

The man was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and gray sweatpants and appeared to be carrying a crowbar.

He took nine cases of Patron Silver, three bottles of Remy XLO and two bottles of Remy VSOP.

Police believe the same man, along with a woman, also broke into the business on Oct. 20 and stole liquor and alcohol.

Officers have investigated 8 business break-in throughout the West Akron area since August, but it's unclear if any of those crimes are connected to the liquor store burglaries.

Anyone with information on the suspects is asked to call Summit County Crimestoppers at 330-434-COPS.
