A fire destroys a vacant house of Cordova Ave in Akron
A vacant house was destroyed by fire in Akron on East Archwood.
AKRON, Ohio - Arson investigators are looking into fires at two vacant homes in Akron early Wednesday morning.
Firefighters fire responded to a house fire at 40 East Archwood Avenue around 2:45 a.m.
About 30 minutes later, firefighters were called to another house fire at 1222 Cordova Avenue.
Crews had to go on the defensive to fight that fire.
Both homes were recently vacant, and no one was hurt in either fire.
No word yet on what sparked either fire.
