Cleveland portable traffic cameras record more than 4,600 'events' in first week

CLEVELAND - Cleveland City Hall reports that since the installation of five portable traffic units, there have been more than 4,600 events flagged by cameras.

The camera with the most flagged events is located at 4123 Pearl Road northbound lanes. An ‘event' is defined as a set of pictures each camera takes.

The events will be reviewed by the Xerox processing team to ensure that they may be possible violations.

The review is a 10-day process. If the events are deemed violations, they may be approved by the Cleveland Division of Police.
