A Cleveland man in facing charges after he took his two daughters following a domestic incident with his wife.

Antonio Hart is accused of threatening his wife and the mother of his two daughters — a 2-year-old and 9-month-old — before taking the kids at 4 p.m. Thursday on East 149th Street, according to police.

Hart, 30, rammed patrol cars before he was arrested, Fourth District Cleveland Police Commander Brandon Kutz said. The two girls were found safe inside the car.

An AMBER Alert was issued for the girls. They were found a short time later. The kids are OK and back with their mother, Kutz said.

Kutz said Hart was suicidal and was driving a gray 1999 Lincoln Continental with temporary plates.

No weapons were found in the car.

Felony charges of kidnapping, assaulting an officer and domestic violence are expected to be filed later.
