Lakewood police responded to an attempted smash and grab Friday that happened around 5 a.m. on Friday.
Crews arrived on scene and found a jeep into the Sunoco Gas Station on the 14000 block of Madison Avenue.
The ATM was reported to be inside and nothing appeared to be stolen.
The gas station was not open at the time of the incident.
