Storms cause power outages all across Northeast Ohio

CLEVELAND - As storms swept into the area, power outages followed. Early Friday morning, people in Cuyahoga County suffered the most as reported outages reached as high as 11,000 in the greater Northeast Ohio area.
The total number at 7:45 a.m., according to
FirstEnergy, is down below 6,500.
Norwalk Police say there are reports of trees down on some houses and blocking roads across the city. No injuries were reported.
A building collapsed in Norwalk and officials have closed schools Friday.
Power lines are down in several areas across the city of Cleveland because of the gusty winds. Crews were worked late Thursday night to restore power at East 152nd Street and Lakeshore Boulevard.
