Two juveniles were recovered by federal authorities in Cleveland who were participating in a nationwide effort to stop sex trafficking last weekend.

The FBI arrested Tyrell Moss, 32, and Jada Boyd, 19, at a hotel for exploiting one of the juveniles, a 17-year-old for sex, according to an FBI news release. Moss and Boyd traveled with the juvenile from her home in Tacoma, WA to Boise, ID, then made stops in Salt Lake City, California, Las Vegas, Denver, and Chicago, before coming to the Cleveland area on Oct. 14. At each stop, the child victim was engaged in commercial sexual exploitation, the release said.

The FBI Cleveland Violent Crime and Child Exploitation Task Force recovered two juvenile victims. Three sex traffickers were arrested, one adult prostitute was arrested, one individual in possession of child pornography was arrested, one federal search warrant was executed and a 2009 BMW X5 and $3,000 was seized throughout the weekend operation.

The arrests were a part of Operation Cross Country X, an international effort focusing on underage human trafficking by federal agencies. In total, 82 juveniles were recovered and 239 pimps and associates were arrested in the weekend investigation.
