This weekend Perry High School is home to “The Moving Wall,” a half-size replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in the nation’s capital.
Created in 1982, The Moving Wall has traveled around the country giving those people who are unable to make the pilgrimage to Washington a chance to pay their respects and honor those who have given their lives in service of our country.
Visitors can see the Wall at Perry High School, 1 Success Blvd., Perry, until Sept. 24.
The event will draw to a close at 6 p.m. on Sunday with the singing of the National Anthem during the closing ceremony.
