COSHOCTON, Ohio - Authorities in east-central Ohio say they have found a hunter who had gotten lost in the woods during a weekend trip to Coshocton County.
WBNS-TV in Columbus reports that 46-year-old Timothy Miller was found around 1 p.m. Monday. The station reports the man was able to walk out of the woods on his own and was reunited with his family.
Sheriff's deputies and other investigators had resumed a search for Miller Monday morning. Miller had been hunting with his brother-in-law but stayed behind and got lost in the darkness after his brother-in-law stopped hunting on Sunday night. Miller contacted deputies from his cellphone, which later died and became unreachable.
Deputies say Miller and his brother-in-law had traveled to Coshocton from the Cleveland area.
