WATCH: Cruiser cam video shows Ohio police pull driver from burning car after chase, crash

NORWOOD, Ohio –  A southwest Ohio police officer pulled a driver from his burning car after the man crashed during a police chase early Tuesday morning.

Ryan Brown's car caught fire after crashing into a parked car and then into a pole on Montgomery Road about 2:30 a.m., police said.

It shows Brown hitting a parked SUV near Cypress Way in Norwood and then continuing north at speeds between 40 and 70 mph until hitting a pole just north of Ridge Road in Pleasant Ridge, police said.

Brown, 36, of Mount Healthy, was unconscious and officers pulled him out of the car, police said.

Brown underwent surgery at University of Cincinnati Medical Center, according to police.

Brown fled from a police stop in Norwood just before 2 a.m., police said.

Brown is facing drug charges, felony fleeing and eluding and OVI.
