CLEVELAND — The construction of a fabulous new home is nearing completion for our "A Home for the Holidays" house.
The builder spoke to News 5 and said 85% of the work is done, with the final touches left.
Crews are working to finish the hardwood floors and granite countertops, with the house scheduled for completion by mid to end of November.
News 5 is a proud media sponsor of this first-year drawing, which benefits Make-A-Wish Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana, and the Home Builders Association's Charitable and Education Foundation.
The drawing for the new home will take place on New Year’s Eve – Dec. 31, 2020. Tickets are $50 each, and there is no limit to the number of tickets you can purchase.

The house that will be given away will be a 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom 2,084 square foot ranch-style home located in Strongsville with a 1,000 square foot finished basement and a sun room. Its estimated value is $493,000. Check back in November for a virtual tour of the model home, which is being built by Parkview Homes.
Proceeds from the A Home for the Holidays project will go to Make-A-Wish OKI, which grants life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. To date, the organization has granted more than 17,500 life-changing wishes and relies on the support of the public to make these wishes come true.
