Most Memorable Stories: In Germany for the Berlin Wall Falling, Desert Shield in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, Mayan Village health clinic in the Yucatan Mexico, Israel and Poland for “Finding Aliza.”

Awards/Honors: Three Emmy Awards ("Kids in Crisis," "Casandra’s Gift" and "Finding Aliza"), three Cleveland Press Club awards for Spot News, UPI Spot News award, AP Best Enterprise Reporting, NATPE Iris Awards Public Affairs & Best of Show for Finding Aliza.

My passion: Scouting (Boy Scouts of America).

Hobbies & Interests: Sea kayaking, aquatics, backpacking and hiking.

Hidden Talent(s): Jack of all trades.

Something most people don't know about me: I was honored to be selected to run the 2002 Olympic torch toward Salt Lake City.

What I like best about Northeast Ohio: Get a lot of bang for the buck, low cost of living and the Cuyahoga Valley National Park.

You're most likely to see me around town at: Malleys, Home Depot or Lowes, or hiking in the woods.

On the weekends I love to: Hang out at the pool or watch movies in my theater.

Additional Info You Want People to Know about You: I am an Eagle Scout with three Eagle Scout sons. I volunteer as the Council Training Chair for the Heart of Ohio Council, BSA. I ensure that dozens of different training courses are staffed and available for the thousands Scout Leaders in the nine counties we serve throughout the year.
