Stars not only have 2 dances, but a new kind of dance off for Latin week on 'Dancing with the Stars'

CLEVELAND - The competition is about to get spicy on the 16th season of "Dancing with the Stars." Forgive my cliché – because it's Latin Week! And the show is shaking up eliminations the way a samba shakes up Zendaya's hips.

First off, the remaining seven couples each will perform a Latin dance. Whoever scores the highest, is safe from elimination this week.

But, wait – there's more!

The six remaining couples will then compete in one of the show's infamous Dance Offs. They will either do the cha cha, jive or rumba. Those dances get picked live, I guess. The winning three couples get extra points. So we'll have a pretty good idea who our bottom three couples will be Tuesday night.

For their individual dance, Disney star –and destined champion – Zendaya and Val are working on a paso doble, while country singer Kellie Pickler and Derek are rehearsing a samba.

Kellie tweeted, "Been a crAzy week but Derek & I made it back to sunny Los Angeles! MN, IL, OH, TN, & now CA in 4 days! Time to get our #Samba on! # DWTS."

NFL star Jacoby Jones and Karina are working on a salsa, as are Olympian Aly Raisman and Mark.

Aly tweeted a funny photo of the toll the competition is taking on her: "EXHAUSTED @SeanLowe09 #DWTS M6jjOAjTBu."

The remaining three stars are doing the rumba: actor Andy Dick and Sharna; "Bachelor" Sean Lowe and Peta; and soap star Ingo Rademacher and Kym.

Sean tweeted, "The rumba was not meant to be danced at 8:30 in the morning."

Ingo knows that fans love his young son, and kept the momentum up on Twitter: "Peanut is taking over for daddy! Thanks mate!"

Ironically, Mexican contestant, boxer Victor Ortiz, did not make it to Latin week; he was eliminated last week.

The competition kicks off Monday night at 8 on ABC, but don't forget to catch the pre-show Monday night at:
