A fugitive who has been on the run for nearly a week for allegedly making threats against President Trump, police and other law enforcement was captured on Friday afternoon.

Authorities said 27-year-old Shawn Christy was apprehended by the Eastern Pennsylvania Violent Crimes Fugitive Task Force around 4:45 p.m. at Camp Mowana near Mifflin Township.

Christy was found hiding in with a knife and a gun. As many as 90 officers helped in searching for Christy of Friday.

Aimee Stang lives across the street from a soybean field where officers lead Christy out in handcuffs.

"We looked up and about 20 to 30 troopers and marshals came trotting out of the woods over there," said Stang.

She says she got close enough to see his face. She says he didn't look injured, but his clothes were disheveled.

"I just wondered how long he had been there," said Stang. "I mean my house is so close to where he was like how long was I sleeping just a few hundred yards away."
