Chris Koetke shares his recipe for chocolate fondue

CLEVELAND - When it's time for dessert at your next party, why not try making your own homemade chocolate fondue. Let's Dish host Christ Koetke shows us how to make their tried and true classic.

Recipe for Chocolate Fondue

Difficulty: Easy

Prep time: 10 minutes

Cook time: 0

Serves: 4


8 oz. grated or finely chopped high quality semi-sweet chocolate

1 c. heavy cream

3-4 T. alcohol (rum, brandy, bourbon, grand Marnier, etc.)

dippers: banana slices, grapes, strawberries, brownies, angel food cake, marshmallows, biscotti  

1.        Bring cream to a boil in a small pot on the stove.

2.       Remove from heat and add chocolate.  Stir until dissolved.

3.       Add alcohol and transfer to the dessert  fondue pot.

4.       Keep warm over a candle or serve still warm in a decorative container and serve with plenty of dippers.
