CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Museum of Art has canceled three upcoming events due to coronavirus concerns.
MIX at CMS, scheduled for May 1, and Parade the Circle, scheduled for June 13, have both been canceled. Solstice, scheduled for June 20, has also been canceled.
Additionally, the museum stated it would stay closed through at least March 30 to help stop the spread of coronavirus.
“These events take months of group preparation and planning, and we are not able to gather at this time. We understand these CMA signature events are greatly anticipated by Northeast Ohioans and we share your disappointment in their cancelation. Our priority is to protect and support our visitors, staff and volunteers, and we are taking proactive precautionary measures to do so,” museum officials said in a news release Saturday.
