Bomb-sniffing dogs patrol Chardon Square on day marking one year since shooting rampage at school

CHARDON, Ohio - The Chardon community isn't taking any chances one year later, following the tragic shooting rampage at Chardon High School.

A strong police presence is evident on Chardon Square on Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2013.

Unmarked officers with bomb-sniffing dogs are also on hand, adding a sense of safety and security to the people of Chardon.

Authorities are checking all vehicles on the square. So far, nothing worth noting has been found.
