An Ohio Highway State Patrol trooper who was accused of taking photographs of teen girls in various states of undress while inside a bathroom in his home has pleaded guilty to child pornography charges.
Tyler Anderson, 44, pleaded guilty to two felony counts of illegal use of a minor in nudity-oriented material, as well as two counts of voyeurism, a first-degree misdemeanor.
According to authorities, Anderson took photos and videos of four different girls between Dec. 28, 2016, and Aug. 31, 2018.
During the investigation, police seized a laptop and disks containing images he captured on a hidden camera.
Anderson is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 17 for sentencing.
If convicted, Anderson faces two to eight years in prison for each felony charge and 180 days for each misdemeanor charge.
Authorities want to remind the public that Anderson's activities do "not reflect the values of the Patrol and other local law enforcement agencies."
