CLEVELAND — An 18-year-old man was shot and killed in Cleveland on Sunday night, according to Cleveland police. In an apparently unrelated incident, a 43-year-old man was shot and killed in Cleveland's Union-Miles Park neighborhood—totaling two homicides in one day.

The 18-year-old victim was found with a gunshot wound to his back. He was taken to University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center where he died from his injuries. Police say they responded to the 7700 block of Garden Valley in Cleveland's Kinsman neighborhood.

On scene, police learned the 18-year-old man entered the apartment building with another person. A short time later, shots were fired and the 18-year-old allegedly fled the building and collapsed outside, according to police.

The man's identity has not yet been released and no arrests have been made, according to police.
