Harris is accused of shooting his girlfriend, 57-year-old Holly Watkins in the neck at her home on Emery Avenue in Cleveland on Tuesday.

Authorities said they found personal items belonging to Watkins in his pocket during his arrest.

Watkins was found dead in her bedroom by family members who were concerned after she didn't show up for work, according to reports.

Authorities said Harris was Watkins' live-in boyfriend.
