Four juveniles were arrested after an observant caller told police they were seen breaking into a business.
Euclid police said on Dec. 31, 2015, police were told there were four juveniles in the area involved in recent breaking and entering incidents.
The person who called police said four black boys carrying backpacks were standing in an alleyway between two Euclid Avenue businesses.
Officers responded to the area and found the boys, all ages 14-15, from Cleveland and East Cleveland, near Family Dollar and First Wok. Police said the boys had on hooded sweatshirts with the hood tied tight to cover their faces.
Three of the four boys stopped when asked to by police. The fourth boy walked away and was later caught by a Euclid police officer.
Police found stolen property from two previous break-ins at the Family Dollar on the boys.
Two of the boys gave police false information and were charged with trespassing, curfew, and providing false information. The other two boys were charged with breaking and entering.
Police returned two of the boys to their parents and the other two were taken to the Cuyahoga County Juvenile Detention Center for charges unrelated to the incident.
