Free self-defense class offered following murder of Aliza Sherman in downtown Cleveland

BEACHWOOD, Ohio - The group Justice for Aliza is hosting free self-defense training for women.
Aliza Sherman was stabbed to death near The Galleria at Erieview on March 24. Police have not identified any suspects in the murder of the 53-year-old mother of three.
The self-defense class will be Sunday, July 28 at noon at the Beachwood Community Center on Fairmont Boulevard. Gary Yano, an eighth-degree black belt and certified defense instructor, will teach the class.
There is a reward of up $25,000 for information leading to an arrest in Sherman's death.
