BEDFORD, Ohio — Bedford police are warning drivers to stay away from Rockside Road due to a water main break that happened Wednesday night. The closure is causing a lot of confusion for drivers Thursday morning trying to navigate an alternate route.

News 5 cameras caught drivers making U-turns, left on reds and honking their horns.

This is the suggested detour route.
Police said the "ginormous" break happened between Broadway Avenue and Lee Road South on Wednesday night.
Officials are asking drivers to avoid the area unless they have an ark or scuba gear.
No residents have been affected by the water main break at this point.
