An East Cleveland organization wants to clean up the streets. Save Our Sons leader, Walter Melton said it’s his mission.

"It feels like, no matter how much I give back, it seems like sometimes, it’s not good enough,” said Melton.

"I can move away from here, but other people can't. If I leave, the ugly side will be: a lot of these kids won't make it. If I save two or three, I'm doing something," he said.

Melton said many kids don’t have parental involvement. He also said some parents have substance abuse problems.

"I took it upon myself to bring change. To right my wrongs," said Melton. "I helped mess up a lot out here."

Save our Sons is having a food giveaway at the MLK Center in East Cleveland on Saturday from noon until 2 p.m.
