A convenience store in Lakewood was robbed Sunday by a knife-wielding man with face paint resembling a member of Blue Man Group.
According to police, around 4:30 a.m. on Nov. 26, a man wearing a puffy blue coat and blue face paint entered 7-Eleven, 16165 Hilliard Blvd, walked up to the clerk and brandished a large kitchen knife.
After robbing the clerk of a roll of quarters, the suspect ran out of the store and through the parking lot of Primary Eye Center, police said.
The clerk told police the man may have been in the store the night before wearing a tan jacket.
The suspect is described as standing about 5-foot-7-inches tall and weighing about 170 pounds. He was last seen wearing blue face paint, a blue puffy jacket, black hat and dark pants.
