Parma police pursued a vehicle stolen from South Euclid into Cleveland before the car crashed early Tuesday morning.
The chase started around 1 a.m. It ended with police chasing the vehicle into Cleveland before it crashed into a pole near Broadview and Spring roads.
One person was trapped in the car for an extended amount of time, according to the Parma Fire Department. The person was transported by Parma firefighters to MetroHealth Medical Center.
The occupant's condition is unknown at this time.
The car had visible front-end and windshield damage.
It's unclear why police pursued the vehicle.
