OVI checkpoint set in Medina to crack down on drunk drivers

MEDINA, Ohio - Police in Medina County will be out in force in the coming days cracking down on drivers who drink and drive. 

The Medina post of The Ohio State Highway Patrol along with the Medina County OVI Task Force is planning an OVI checkpoint to deter and catch impaired drivers this week.

The location of the checkpoint will be announced the morning of the checkpoint. Police suggest always using a  designated driver if drinking alcohol.
