Newschannel 5 at Noon: Akron high school teacher now denies posting racially-charged Halloween rant on Facebook
AKRON, Ohio - An Akron high school teacher is going public with his side of a controversial Facebook post that he's now saying he didn't make.
David Spondike, a 51-year-old Firestone High School teacher, made waves around Halloween
when a vulgar, racially-charged rant posted on his Facebook profile complaining about trick-or-treaters.
But Spondike appeared in an interview on "Right This Minute" with Timothy Herron, the father of a boy the teacher claims made the post that make use of the "n-word," among other things.
