Two arrested after meth lab home investigated in Stow

STOW, Ohio - Two Stow residents are under arrest after police found a suspected meth lab at their house.

Police were called to the house and discovered a man and woman hiding in a basement filled with smoke.

They saw that the suspects were cooking methamphetamine utilizing the "one pot" method. Investigators discovered an improvised reaction vessel along with precursors, chemical components, lab waste and other equipment and materials used in the manufacture of methamphetamine.

The two suspects were arrested and are currently in the Summit County Jail awaiting a video arraignment. An 8-year-old child was also found at the residence.

They were taken into custody by Children's Services pending further investigation.
