Assistant high school football coach Francois Hagenimana was drunk in wrong-way fatal crash

Authorities say an assistant high school football coach in southwestern Ohio was driving drunk when he caused a wrong-way crash that killed him and another driver in September.

The Dayton Daily News reports that 24-year-old Francois Hagenimana's blood alcohol content at the time of the crash was 0.22 percent -- more than twice the legal limit in Ohio.

Troopers said Hagenimana of Kettering drove the wrong way on Interstate 70 east of Dayton and crashed into another car driven by 28-year-old Jason Fricke Sept. 29. He and Fricke were dead at the scene.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol said Hagenimana, an assistant football coach at Centerville High School, drove 10 miles in the wrong direction on I-70 before the crash.
