Scott plans on coming back to Cavs

Byron Scott says he hasn't spoken to team ownership about his future with the Cleveland Cavaliers.

His plans are to continue approaching things as if he'll back for a fourth season.

Scott said at  Cleveland's Wednesday morning shootaround, "Yeah, I have a year on my contract, (so) unless they tell me otherwise I plan on being back."

Cleveland plays its season finale against the Charlotte Bobcats.

Whether that happens or not remains to be seen.

The Cavs have the third-worst record in the NBA at 24-57 and are 64-165 in three seasons rebuilding under Scott following the departure of LeBron James.

Scott says the season has been "frustrating" because the Cavaliers "never had a chance to see what we had as a whole with all of the injuries we had."
