BCS standings: Ohio State comes in at No. 2 after win over Michigan, Alabama loss

CLEVELAND - Ohio State is in position to play in the BCS National Championship Game with the release of college football's latest BCS standings.

The Buckeyes beat Michigan 42-41 in Ann Arbor and former No. 1 Alabama fell to rival Auburn in the Iron Bowl Saturday, allowing for the jump.

As of now, the Buckeyes would face off with top-ranked Florida State in Pasadena.

The Seminoles' last remaining test is against Duke in the ACC championship game.

Ohio State travels to Indianapolis to take on Michigan State in the Big Ten championship game.

Florida State and Ohio State are the only two undefeated teams remaining from automatic-qualifying conferences.
