Dad kicked out of Arizona Cardinals NFL game vs Dallas Cowboys after asking son to hold beer

GLENDALE, Ariz. - John Coulter was enjoying Saturday's Arizona Cardinals' preseason game against the Dallas Cowboys when he asked his son to hold his beer while he snapped a picture.

A few seconds later, two undercover officers from the Arizona Department of Liquor Licenses and Control approached him.

They informed Coulter, who thought it was a joke, that he could be arrested for providing alcohol to an underage person, according to the USA Today report.

Fortunately, Coulter did not get arrested, but he and his son were escorted out of the University of Phoenix Stadium.

According to officials, Coulter was lucky as he could have faced a maximum of six months in jail, a $2,500 fine and three years probation for the Class 1 misdemeanor.

Despite this, Coulter told USA Today that he was the victim of "abuse and overzealous pursuing of the situation."
