The FBI is investigating a rash of bank robberies and they believe that teenagers or very young adults are to blame. "We believe possibly six robberies," said FBI Special Agent Vicki Anderson.

The most recent robbery happened Tuesday at the PNC on West 25th Street. "All three came in with guns in their hands and jumped the counter," Anderson explained.

This is the latest in several violent crimes that police suspect involve teenagers. The fight at the IX Center, carjackings and shootings are some of the recent crimes that police blame on teenagers.

Kahlid Samad has worked with young people for a decade in his role at Peace in the Hood and Peacekeepers Alliance. He said he has never seen a generation so violent. "These are just savages, out here running around shooting and killing each other," said Samad.

Both the FBI and banks are offering reward money for information leading to the arrest of the bank robbers. Call your local police department, Crimestoppers or the FBI with information.
