Now that summer is in full swing, there is always something to do in Northeast Ohio. Here are five events to check out this weekend.

1. Waterloo Arts Festival

The North Collinwood neighborhood, more specifically Waterloo Road, is unofficially Cleveland's artist community. It's the only place in Cleveland trying to revitalize an entire neighborhood through the arts. The Beachland Ballroom was the first venue on Waterloo Road 17 years ago. In the last several years, artists and community art spaces have filled the empty buildings on Waterloo Road as a way to breathe new life into the North Collinwood neighborhood. Zygote Ink House, Praxis Fiber Workshop and Brick Ceramics are a few venues who have made North Collonwood home. The 15th Annual Waterloo Arts Festival features more than 40 bands, local handmade art and interactive art programming.

When: Saturday, June 24, 12-7 p.m.

Where: Cleveland on Waterloo Rd between E.161st St and Calcutta Ave

Celebrating Cleveland's mark on music and entertainment, the three-day 38th Annual Tri-C Jazzfest takes places in theaters and outdoors at U.S. Bank Plaza. The festival connects students and the community to local and international artists in an energizing atmosphere. On Euclid Avenue and surrounding streets near Playhouse Square, dozens of free events from cooking demos to chat sessions with Jazz artists will be happening all weekend.

When: June 22-June-24.

4. Cleveland Pizza Fest

Yes, you heard correctly. There's a festival dedicated to pizza. Twelve local pizza vendors are prepared to feed the nearly 20,000 visitors who will flock to the Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds for this weekend event. Favorite local spots include Angelos,  A Slice Above and Primoz Pizza.
