Lorain County officials were called to Huntington Township Wednesday morning after a body was found in a ditch.
Lorain County Sheriff's Office and the South Lorain County Ambulance Service were dispatched to Pratt Road east of Hawley Road around 8:17 a.m. for reports of an unresponsive man lying between the road and a cornfield.
The body was found by two people walking by in the remote area of Lorain County.
EMS and sheriff's deputies determined the man was dead when they arrived at the scene. Lorain County Sheriff's Office detectives and the Lorain County Coroner's Office were called to the scene.
The man was identified as 27-year-old Corey Stevenson from Parma.
Officials say there was no apparent trauma to the man. Cause of death will be determined by the Lorain County Coroner's Office.
The Lorain County Sheriff's Office Detective Bureau is investigating.
