Five places to watch the Cavs take on the Warriors in LeBron James' hometown of Akron

The Cleveland Cavaliers take on the Golden State Warriors in Game 1 of the Finals in Oakland. While the Cavs are away Defending the Land, fans will show up at watch parties and local bars to show their support and feed off of the contagious energy in Cleveland and Akron. The King's hometown of Akron is a great place to watch the games and soak up all the energy Cavs fans proudly display.

With daily specials and a happy hour not to miss, watching the Cavs game at this well known Akron sports bar is a must. Located near the University of Akron, this bar draws large crowds from the campus and the community. Every Monday and during the Cavs games, wings are $.65 and every day pitchers: Budlight, Yuengling, Miller and Coors are $8.

Voted best sports bar in Akron for several consecutive years, this bar boasts 40 HD TVs and three HD projector screens. There's something for everyone at this bar. There's also an outside patio to enjoy the seasonable weather.

Located across from the Akron Civic Theater, Baxter's Bar has dollar dogs during all Cavs, Indians, Zips and Browns games. Happy Hour daily from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. which include $5 drafts and half-off appetizers. This low-key atmosphere is a come as you are vibe. The front of the bar opens up to a patio facing S. Main Street.

This bar is definitely a bar for all sports fans, especially when the Cavaliers are playing. There's a large screen television at the main bar with many others throughout. As their name implies, the menu reflects anything related to a sports game. Most popular item on the menu is their Gameday Fries that are loaded with bacon, their signature Gameday sauce and melted Jack and Cheddar cheese.

This is your quintessential American pub which is ideal for watching all sports games. TV's are scattered throughout the restaurant so wherever you're sitting, there's a view of the game. There are a whopping 30 craft beers on tap and daily specials every day.
