WATCH LIVE: Several news conferences from local, state officials to give coronavirus updates

CLEVELAND — Officials across Northeast Ohio and the state are holding news conferences throughout the day Friday to provide updates on everything from coronavirus preparedness to new policies and more.

Friday news conferences:

1:30 p.m.— Cleveland Mayor Frank Jackson and other officials will provide an update about coronavirus preparedness, administrative policy changes and more. The changes expected to be announced are in alignment with Centers for Disease Control & Prevention guidelines and recent directives from Gov. DeWine.

2:00 p.m.— Ohio Governor Mike DeWine is expected to give an update at his daily news conference with state leaders and offiicials with the Ohio Department of Health.

3:00 p.m. — President Donald Trump is holding a news conference about coronavirus from the White House, where reports indicate he will declare a national emergency. Watch that livestream here.
