Cleveland's Water Lantern Festival postponed due to weather

CLEVELAND — Cleveland’s first-ever Water Lantern Festival scheduled for Saturday has been postponed due to the weather.

The festival that brings hundreds of people together to watch the lanterns light up Lake Erie, was scheduled for June 15.

The event has been rescheduled for August 17, according to a representative of the Water Lantern Festival.

The Water Lantern Festival is making stops at dozens of cities across the country, including Dayton, Columbus and Cincinnati, according to the festival's website.
