Man shot in chest, vehicle crashes into house

A man suffered a gunshot wound to the chest on Tarkington Avenue on Wednesday night. Following the shooting, a vehicle crashed into a house, according to Cleveland police reports. 

Cleveland police said it's unknown at this time if the victim was driving the vehicle that crashed into the house. 

Police said the victim was transported to MetroHealth Medical Center, where he was in 'unstable' condition before dying. The police have ruled the death a homicide. 

There have been no suspects announced by police and no charges have been filed yet.
