An Uber driver was allegedly assaulted by a 21-year-old Thompson man in downtown Willoughby Saturday.
The driver picked up two women who were arguing. When the driver got out of the car at around 2:39 p.m., a man punched him in the face and kicked his car, according to Willoughby police.
The suspect fled but police said they arrested him when he rolled down the Todd Field Hill into a parking lot where officers were waiting.
The suspect was charged with assault and criminal damaging.
