REDDING, CA. — You may remember the wildfire in California that destroyed so many homes late last summer. Firefighters spent 38 days battling the massive Carr fire last year.

This year one of the fire departments that battled the blaze is welcoming 12 new babies to the force. Some of the firefighters were from the Redding fire department and now 12 of their wives are proud new moms, according to CNN.

Of the 12, there were 3 sets of twins. The new mothers have found comfort in each other as they now have their hands full. They know how emotional an experience the fire was and now they will use what they learned as they become parents.

The firefighter community has always been close-knit and they will undoubtedly become even closer after such an incredible experience.
