The Browns' Joe Thomas is many things. He's an avid outdoorsman, an all-around funny guy, a Hall of Fame tackle, and now a recruiter.
Thomas is lobbying to get Washington Redskins quarterback Kirk Cousins to come and play for the Cleveland Browns.
Cousins, who will be a free agent next month, tweeted a picture holding his son Cooper saying:
Cooper & I are interested in hearing where the best spot is for us. We have no idea yet. #waiting pic.twitter.com/2VOy5W43n8

Naturally, Thomas had some wise words for the quarterback.
I hear Cleveland is nice this time of year, that is, if you’d like to have a statue someday... https://t.co/Geo5CzvI5J

He went on to tout how Cleveland is the best option, noting how Cousins could become an instant hero among some of the city's most loyal fans, and even ones who have lost hope after a 0-16 season.
You could make MORE money and MORE history in Cleveland than anywhere else, by FAR. Don’t just go and be another quarterback somewhere else! https://t.co/tVPqv8pdPB

Cleveland leads the league with a $110 million-plus spending cap, according to the NFL. If Cousins signs with the Browns, he will be probably be the highest-paid player in league history.
