CLEVELAND — Odell Beckham Jr. was officially introduced as a Cleveland Brown on Monday.
These are a few things that News 5 learned during his first day as a Brown.
1.) Odell Beckham Jr. was out to dinner when New York Giants General Manager Dave Gettleman called him to let him know about the trade.
2.) He's thankful he gets to play with former teammate Jarvis Landry.
3.) Landry cried when he learned that Beckham was joining the team.
4.) Baker Mayfield started screaming as if it was game day when he learned about the trade.
5.) He's going to miss his Giants teammates, but is excited to build new relationships with his teammates in Cleveland.
6.) Beckham will have to update his touchdown dances because he doesn't want to be shown up by Mayfield.
7.) Beckham said he doesn't need to be in a big city like New York or L.A. to secure his legacy as a football player.
8.) He's looking forward to finding out how big of a football town Cleveland is.
